What exactly is a "Temple" when it comes to the Tabernacle?
Could this be another way the Bible describes your body?

Turn on POWER and AUTHORITY to take control of the hard parts of your day!  Turn off FEAR and DOUBT sapping your strength, stealing your joy.

With precise prayer guidelines and a dedication to scholarship, we share with our readers how to explore life lived through meaningful prayer.

In The Tabernacle: Living in Power through Abiding Prayer, we offer guidance for finding strength through powerful prayer for your walk in the market place.

One of our guiding principles is to abide: Think about your "self-regarding" state of consciousness!!! Considered that which contemplates interaction day by day. We're talking about that daily thought-life grind. What does it mean to abide in oneness with God? How do we see, think about, and relate to Him in that intimate state? Pause and reflect—what draws you, that spiritual self peering out from behind those eyes toward that divine place? And what tools guide us there? Is this place rooted in the lower regions, a place the Bible suggests as the new heart? Watch the videos on the menu page for more answers! It’s not a matter of emptying the mind or blending thoughtlessness with meditation. Rather, it’s a state of connection—a deliberate union with God within the New Heart. It requires letting go of thoughts that distract from this divine indwelling and nurturing those that deepen our relationship with Him. Just as the Samaritan woman in John 4 sought the living water, our purpose is to seek and step into that holy connection. This is the process of abiding—a movement both profound and essential. Prayer facilitates this abiding connection. Consider the opening of the Lord’s Prayer, “Our Father, holy is Your name…” (Matthew 6:9). These words flow from a place of reverence and love, becoming a union of two voices—ours and Christ’s—joined in a single, powerful sentiment of praise. It’s through this alignment, shaped by His authority and fueled by our intent, that our thoughts can transform into divine speech, the "Prayer Column," rising heavenward for God’s glory. Isaiah 40:31 speaks of soaring on “wings of eagles,” an image of ascending strength and renewal. This action mirrors John’s teachings on divine oneness, as described in John 14:23—“We will come to him and make our home with him”—and John 17:22-23, where Christ reveals the unity He shares with the Father. This ascent into God’s presence is carried by His breath, lifting us closer to His heart and purpose. To abide in oneness is to dwell actively in His love, where our prayer and praise become a channel for divine connection—an upward offering that reflects both His glory and our longing for Him.
